In this interview, I share a bit about my creative path - from dance to screenwriting - and how resilience, reinvention, and trusting your story can lead to unexpected magic. It’s a love letter to those in transition.
Why I do what I do
I love story so much I’ve built my entire professional life around it — in every form I could get my hands on. I’m still deep in the work myself as a writer and creative. And I also help others shape their stories as a consultant and coach.
What lights me up? That moment when someone suddenly sees their story in a new way. The writer who finally understands why their protagonist isn’t clicking. The entrepreneur who finds the words that actually capture their vision. The midlife woman walking away from a corporate career who realizes she’s not "starting over" — she’s starting true. The creative who taps into something raw and real they didn’t know how to express until now. That “click” is better than any standing ovation.
Because I’ve moved between creative worlds and spiritual practice, I bring a wide lens — and a lot of tools — to the table. I offer humor (because you need it when you're digging deep), honesty (because sugarcoating never helped anyone), and presence (because real shifts happen in real time).
My job is to help you spot where your story wants to go, even when you can’t quite see it yet.

How I Got Here
My path has been anything but predictable, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve danced as a Rockette, acted in Hollywood, written screenplays, and now I’m living in Paris, writing a book and soaking up inspiration from every café and cobblestone street. Through all the pivots and reinventions, one thing has remained constant: I’m obsessed with stories — writing them, performing them, shaping them, and now, helping others with their own.
Then came a surprise twist I didn't see coming, but deeply needed: I became an Eckhart Tolle certified Presence teacher. That experience cracked something open in me. I saw how powerful it is when we stop replaying the same tired scripts in our heads and start seeing our lives with fresh eyes. One small shift in perspective, and the entire story can change.
That’s where My Story Shift was born — from the truth that we write our own stories, inside and out. And everything begins with that awareness.
